My DJ business sprung from teaching dance and the search for good dance music. I am a journeyman member of Local 204, International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees. I have helped set up for concerts and other events at arenas, auditoriums, and stages. I usually work either audio or lighting. I have some experience as a spot light operator. One song was repeated only a few songs after it was played the first time. We also requested a number of Spanish songs but didn't hear any, at least 1-2 would have been good. But the DJ did a great job keeping everyone dancing the entire night so no real complaints.
I got my start DJ'ing in high school when we needed a cheap DJ for a dance our marching band was throwing. I borrowed some speakers and did the job myself. I continued to practice DJ'ing by volunteering for student groups at my undergraduate university (Youngstown State) As a summer job between semesters I got my first professional gig as a DJ at the Lockview Bar and Grill in Akron. After I graduated and moved on to graduate school at Cleveland State I accepted a job at an area mobile DJ company. I have DJ'ed countless events with at least one (and often multiple events) every weekend from school dances to weddings and everything in-between. I still actively DJ in the Northeast Ohio while teaching part-time at Kent State University with my master's in communication and am looking to do more events on my own.

The DJ was very nice, but was late for set up and wasn't finished setting up when we were ready to open the doors. The sound equipment was having problems for about the first 30 minutes.I believe this was due to insufficient time for set up.
Don't worry, be happy! We have many other DJs to choose from here!

We had so much fun with our wedding guests after the ceremony, when we were finally able to relax and enjoy the rest of the day! The music was awesome and had young and old out on the dance floor! Dubre was so helpful and had a lot of great advice for me since I didn't know how to schedule out the specific dances or the fun games! Overall - if I ever need a DJ for anything again, I will definitely be contacting Pro DJs!
Born in Chicago Illinois and raised on the Central Coast of California, FREDO is a determined, multi talented, driven, outgoing, fun loving and independent individual. He brings numerous performance experiences to the table. His credentials include acting, professional mobile D.J. Club D.J., TV hosting and on air radio personality. In every medium, Fredo loves knowing that he’s bringing a smile to faces.
Salinas/Monterey served as the launching pad to Fredo's entertainment career. He started interning at a local radio station (102.5 KDON) and within three months was hired, where he became an on-air personality and stunt guy at age 19! From there, things took off.
Another big break for Fredo while in Salinas was co-hosting for a Teen TV Dance Show (Shockwave). He’s also had the privilege to work with: A.J. Playhouse in San Diego and Rico, with United Station Radio Networks. Fredo also made appearances in some small movie roles and was a movie EXTRA for NEW LINE CINEMA.
In June of 2003, he moved to Sin City (Las Vegas) to work at HOT 97.5 as the morning show producer, weekend on-air personality and assistant promotions director. Fredo created quite an impact at HOT 97.5 in a very short time, then given the privilege to DJ at Palms Casino and Resort (Palapa Lounge) and later a DJ for Mr. Hugh Hephner at the PLAYBOY 50th anniversary party at the Palms.
In late January of 2004, Fredo moved back to the Central Coast. He came back home to continue his education and his radio carrier at 102.5 KDON. At the same time, landed a position on NBC/Siblings FEAR FACTOR and won the $50,000 prize along with his sister Erica. Fredo loves to entertain and is even more thrilled to be on radio at ESPN 630AM (Monterey, Ca).

Is there anything specific that can be improved upon?
He's not organized at all. He brought a list of a party for a completely different wedding for the introductions. The names he had for our party were for people we didn't even know. My wife provided a song list he claims he never received, but my wife did indeed email him the list multiple times, and they even discussed the song list on the phone multiple times, on multiple occasions..yet he some how forgot this ever happened, and kept accusing my wife of never sending it..his exact words were "it only takes two seconds to send an email" when in reality he's so incompetent he never bothered to review the emails that were sent his way, so he decided to play whatever music he saw fit instead of communicating with us.

He's rude and unprofessional. He was rude to our family and guests, yet he put up such a fake act and smile for me and my wife that I didn't realize how rude he was being until I heard it from my own sister and more than three of my guests. He knew he messed up and was taking out his frustration on everyone trying to clean up his mess. He made so many promises when we were going over everything, acted as if he knew exactly what we wanted, he even said on a phone conversation "thank you for sending me the links to the exact version of the songs you want so I can make sure to play the right songs" yet again...he claims my wife never sent him the song list. Do not book this guy, he'll make promises he doesn't keep and will show up to your wedding acting as if you never once communicated anything with him even after multiple phone calls going over the song list, multiple emails with specific songs, a full lay out of the event and time frames. We made it so easy for him, yet he still screwed it up.

Our DJ Freddo was great! We really didn't know how involved people would get with dancing or singing but he did an amazing job getting people involved. Would highly recommend this company again and Gig Masters made the entire process really easy! Thanks for making our day even more fun!
